The Insectopedia is a complete listing of every enemy in the world of Bug Heroes, with name, stats, recommended counter-abilities and equipment, a short descriptive text, and any possible counter-strategies added by players. Enemies are listed in the same order they appear in the in-game Insectopedia, which seems to correspond to the order they appear in the maps in the game.
The numbers in parenthesis (80 hp, 2 ranged armor, 0 melee armor) and (10 hp) are the detailed stats, and describes the health (hit points) of the enemies, how many damage points are subtracted from any ranged attack against them, how many damage points are subtracted from any melee attacks against them, and the the severity of their attack, expressed in how many hit points of damage they inflict.
The armor piercing quality means that the attack ignores some of your heroes' armor. How much, however, varies from enemy to enemy (just as with hero abilities that pierce armor), and there are no stats available that detail the exact amounts.

Ant: Howitzer can take out a bunch of them, and Entrench can be used to keep them at distance while damaging them.
Foursaken Media:
Ant with Entrench is one option. Stickbug with Wind Staff is another good option as well. The really big heavy weapons like Worms Autocannon and Fly's Elephant Snail Rifle can take them down quickly... Fly's Money shot is a good choice as well. Spider Pistols work well. Ladybugs Lunge can kill a group in one well placed blow. Any poison attacks ignore armor and do good damage (Stickbugs Poison Ward, Worms Poison Grenade, Spiders Poison Cloud, etc). Hope that helps:)
K?!:
For worm, try using bayonet in those situations. Grenade is also cheap and powerful and works well. When hungry bugs come, use a teleport ability to get out: Phase shift (Stickbug), Hop (Grasshopper), Ninja Smoke (Spider), or Teleporter (Ant). If you have slow heroes or won't be able to escape, but still have some space, a tremor bomb will stop hungry bugs in their traps. It won't push them back, just prevent them from moving, so it must be used proactively. Then use Worm's timed bombs or a ranged attack to finish them off. If you are going to be hit and are out of abilities, try not to get cornered and take damage with your strongest hero.

Health: Low
Damage: High
Speed: Slow
Best Counters: Sniper Turret, Spider Superior Assassin Ability, Ant Teleport Ability, Beetle Adrenaline Ability.
Description: Trained from birth, these specialists are a new addition to the Scorpion armies. High tech weapons and hardcore training make them formidable foes. Be weary of their long range, usually firing far before even see them. Their bullets cut through armor and do very high damage, so be sure to always stay moving when a Sniper Team is around. Use Ant's Teleport ability or Spider's Superior Assassin to manuever around them and quickly take them down, or activate Adrenaline and weave back and forth to make yourself a harder target to hit.

Name: Gun Bug
Health: Medium
Damage: Medium
Speed: Slow
Best Counters: Sniper Turret, Spider Swords, Beetle Adrenaline, Ant Entrench.
Description: These Gun Balls are aptly named... essentially just an armored ball with gun barrels surrounding it, these armored fleas shoot hails of bullets in all directions. Dodge their bullets, get in and attack them quickly, and get out! Beware as their armor makes them resistant to machine gun and pistol fire.
Advice: These can quickly deplete health. Only found in the Living Room, stay far away, then zoom in with a melee hero and kill them before they attack again.
